I am selling a project that never got completed. I was building a totally retro and awesome time trial funnybike. My inspiration was Greg Lemond, the guy averaged 31 mph in the 1989 Tour de France on a bike not much different than this one. Its not about the bike. Think about how good you will feel passing guys on Cervelo P2C's and other trick rigs that cost 10 times the price of this bike.
All you need to complete it is a rear brake, brake levers and a saddle. Everything else is there and in great condition.
Build:
Frame: Torelli funnybike (internal brake routing) 700c front rear wheel and 650c front 58cm c-c ST and 58 cm c-c TT
Fork: QR aero fork (one of the fastest aero forks out there) and the original Torelli
Cranks: Dura Ace
Stem: Shimano 600 aero stem
Handlebars: Profile
Aerobars: Scott
Shifters: Shimano
Rear Deraileur: Shimano 600
Front derailleur: Campagnolo
Pedals: Look
Front wheel: 650 c Mavic clincher
Rear wheel: 700c Nashbar clincher (7 speed---same as Lemond)
Front brake: Shimano 600
Also comes with neon yellow handlebar tape, a neon yellow Profile aerobar, a SRAM chain new in box and tires.
The frame has Torelli pantographs in various locations which is super cool. Internal cable routing. No dings, dents, cracks or major chips. The frame and parts are in awesome condition.
Sizing: funnybikes are funny to size. But with that said, the measurements are:
ST: 58cm C-C
TT: 58cm C-C
I also have a set of plastic wheel covers to make the rear wheel into a disk. I will sell this to the buyer for an extra $50.
Show up on this bad boy and blow away the competition. You'll be riding the best technology 1990 had to offer.
$400 or best offer. Cash Only. I live near downtown Portland.
